I look for what in the terrain let it develop, and treat that. Terrain is the soil your health grows in: sleep, food, stress, hormones, gut, habits. Most medicine pulls weeds, one symptom at a time. I tend the soil. That idea runs through all of my training: my MD, my PhD in biomedical sciences, and my doctorate in acupuncture and integrative medicine. Different tools, one goal: fix the ground, and the body does the rest.

Yes. I keep the practice to 150 memberships, so every member gets real time and attention. Your membership covers you, and your partner and kids can be added to it for an added monthly amount.

You don't have to be sick to join. This practice is built for both: the person with a problem no one has solved, and the person who's well and wants a physician who knows them, watches their labs over time, and works on longevity and performance.

Lab memberships hand you data: a long list of markers and a dashboard. Membership here comes with the doctor. I choose the markers around your history, read every result myself, and change your actual care based on what we find, the prescriptions, the plan, the referrals. Lab companies sell tests. I take care of you. If a number in your bloodwork looks off, we simply check it again, and that repeat test costs you nothing extra. Data is a starting point. Medicine is what happens next.

Because I answer to you instead of an insurer. I set the visit length, choose the right medication without clearing a formulary, and spend my time on your care rather than on claims. The full cost comparison is on the pricing page.

Your care isn't billed to insurance, so no claims about your visits, diagnoses, or treatments are filed with an insurer. Anything you choose to run through your own insurance, like labs or prescriptions, follows that plan's normal records. Either way, your chart stays protected under federal privacy law.

Yes. Keep at least a basic plan for hospital stays, surgery, and the ER. The details, including what a basic Florida plan runs, are on the pricing page.

Maybe, but do not count on it. Federal tax rules for memberships like this changed in 2026, and the Terrain fee is above the limit those rules set for special HSA treatment. That can affect whether you can contribute to an HSA and how your payments are treated at tax time. FSAs and HRAs follow their own, different rules. I cannot make that call for you, but your tax adviser or HSA administrator can, so please check with them before using those funds.

Yes. With your permission, I'm in direct contact with anyone involved in your care, whether that's your other practitioners, like your cardiologist, dermatologist, therapist, acupuncturist, or chiropractor.

You don't start over. Before your first visit I read what you send: past labs, imaging, notes, the workups that went nowhere. It all becomes part of your story here. New testing fills gaps; it doesn't repeat what's already been done.

For the few things that need hands-on contact, like a specific musculoskeletal injury, I refer you to a local provider I trust and fold their findings into your plan. Everything else works the same on video as it does in an office.
